When a product sells out, pre-ordering lets you secure your hair before the next shipment arrives. Here's exactly what to expect — timelines, delays, and how we keep you informed every step of the way.

What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to purchase a product that is currently out of stock. Your payment is collected at the time of order, and your hair ships as soon as the new inventory arrives. Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they are received — first come, first shipped.

Timelines

Standard Wait Times

Wait times vary depending on where the product is in the restock cycle. We always provide an estimated ship date on the product page. The timelines below are typical ranges — your product page will have the most accurate estimate for that specific item.

Order Type Estimated Wait Notes
In-Transit Restock 1–2 weeks Shipment already in transit. Fastest pre-order option.
Standard Restock 2–4 weeks Most common. Product ordered and preparing to ship from origin.
Custom / Special Order 4–8 weeks Non-standard lengths, textures, or colors sourced specifically for you.
Extended Restock 6–10 weeks Rare. Occurs with supply chain disruptions or high-demand items.
Estimate vs. Guarantee: All dates are estimates, not guarantees. We update customers immediately when the estimated ship date changes. See the Delays section below.
The Process

How Pre-Orders Work

From the moment you place your pre-order to the moment it arrives at your door, here's what happens.

You Place Your Order

You select a pre-order item, complete checkout, and payment is collected. You receive an order confirmation email immediately with your estimated ship date and order details.

Your Spot is Reserved

Your specific unit — texture, length, color — is reserved from the incoming shipment in the order your purchase was received. Earlier orders ship first.

Inventory Arrives

When the new stock arrives at our facility, we inspect and quality check every unit. This typically takes 1–2 business days before pre-orders begin shipping out.

Your Order Ships

Your hair is packed and shipped. You receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. From there, standard delivery timelines apply (3–7 business days for US orders).

Custom Orders

Custom Order Timelines

Custom orders are for specific requests that fall outside our standard inventory — unusual lengths, rare textures, color-matched units, or bulk orders. Because these are sourced individually, timelines are longer and the process differs slightly from standard pre-orders.

Transparency

Potential Delays

We are honest about delays when they happen. The hair industry involves international sourcing, customs clearance, and carrier logistics — all of which can shift timelines. We will never leave you wondering what's happening with your order.

Delay Caused by Customer: If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, redelivery fees and any additional shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Sinkor Hair is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address submissions.
Cancellations

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans change. Pre-order cancellations are accepted under the following conditions.

How to Cancel: Email info@sinkorbeauty.com with your order number and subject line "Pre-Order Cancellation." Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
